The Holloway family’s commitment to care for seniors grew out of its real estate development business. Caswell Holloway Jr., came to the area in 1980 and acquired some properties out of bankruptcy, including Mystic Shores Retirement Community. In addition to building out 525 homes there, he thought the development should include a nursing home and, as a result, developed Seacrest Village.

His son Brian Holloway Sr., a real estate developer in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, as well as a property manager and his wife, Patty, have run the business since 1980. Their son Brian is embarking on the same journey running the family business as the current Administrator of Seacrest Village.
